Kara McKeever’s poetry and fiction have appeared in journals that include Ninth Letter, the North American Review, Cutleaf, the Cimarron Review, TIMBER, pioneertown, and Midwestern Gothic, where she was nominated for a Pushcart. Her visual art has been exhibited in Lawrence, KS, and Pomona, CA, and appeared in Contemporary Collage Magazine and UPPERCASE. Recently she was a featured artist in the Encyclopedia of Inspiration book series, Volume G: GLUE, which showcased her work in collage and visual poetry. She grew up in rural Iowa and lives in Kansas City, MO.
