Bear Review poet Ruth Awad selected NEA fellow

Before another day goes by without us blasting this news to the world we're dying to tell you that Bear Review poet Ruth Awad is a 2021 NEA Fellow! This year's full list is below.

Ruth and 34 others were honored this year. The annual fellowships are awarded to poets and prose writers and come with a $25,000 honorarium.

Ruth has two poems in the current issue: "The Wolf Tells the Magpie" and "Forgiveness."
