Dusty Santamaria is a Latinx songwriter, poet, painter, and video collage artist living in New Orleans. Antigravity Magazine describes Santamaria's songs as "cryptically romantic, drenched with the collective shadow;" and his live performances as "borderline shamanic." As a painter Santamaria uses bright expressive colors and folk art motifs with swirling movement he refers to as "frozen music."
